Workshop: Intro to Screen Printing on Paper

Skill Level:

Nick Mahsie

Long celebrated for its use by iconic artists such as Andy Warhol, screenprinting is an easy crowd favorite capable of producing fine art quality results. Introduction to Screen Printing on Paper is the ideal course for beginners to learn the basic tools and technique necessary for understanding the silk screening process. In this course, students will learn how to coat a silkscreen with light-sensitive emulsion, burn their designs, and print directly onto Fine Art quality paper.

During the workshop, students will be introduced to the various tools needed to make an edition of prints. They will leave the class with multiple prints of their own design on paper.

We will be using all water-based inks, which are easy to clean and can be used at home in order to continue developing this skill after taking this workshop.

Introduction to Screen Printing on Paper is ideal for the novice designer and artist looking to understand the basics of silkscreening.

Price: $55.00 (all materials included)
