Stop-motion animation is a fun and hands-on way to make animations from still photos. Experience the fun of making movements from leftover materials, cut paper, food, random objects and drawings, creating and photographing your original compositions. Students will learn how to import images into Photoshop, edit them and turn them into animations. A fully charged smartphone or digital camera with SD card is required.

About Ariel Baron-Robbins


Ariel Baron-Robbins is an intermedia artist who works in drawing, photography, computer art,

gifs and video. Her Master of Fine Arts is in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of

South Florida and her Bachelor of Fine Arts is in Painting and Drawing from the University of

Mississippi. She has been a resident artist at Oolite Arts and Fountainhead Studios, both in Miami, Florida. She currently teaches Computer Art at Miami Dade College and Broward College in South Florida where she resides.
