Information
Give new life to your old Tee Shirts in this fun, fashion-forward workshop led by fiber artist and sustainability advocate Pangea Kali Virga. T-shirts are one of the most discarded garments in the world, creating tonnes of textile waste.
This is the last workshop of the Fiber Art Fashion Series. In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to transform them into entirely new pieces through a variety of cutting, slashing, twisting, braiding, and sewing techniques.
Discover how to upcycle worn or forgotten tees into dresses, bags, redesigned tops, and more. You’ll explore both structural and decorative approaches to reworking fabric, using simple tools and your own creative vision.
Bring 2–3 T-shirts of any size from home to reinvent and transform them into new pieces! Pangea will offer individual guidance and feedback..
No experience necessary. All are welcome.
