Information
This is an ideal course for beginner-intermediate students who want to learn a simple step-by-step process to represent a Basic Human Figure through a drawing system, making it possible to visualize the human body forms from every point of view.
No previous drawing training is required.
The class will cover various poses, actions, and gestures without a model and the correct relationships between forms through analytical drawings to study the interconnections of the parts of the body: Proportions, measurements, symmetry, and sketching to capture the expression of the figure.
The students will learn to build a human figure from scratch, starting with a very simple structure following a deep space figure rotation method. This systematic sketching order will be explained and demonstrated. The curriculum covers the body forms, the shape masses of the figure such as the head, the rib cage shape, the wedge box of the pelvis, the column, forms of the arms and legs, and the wedges masses of hands and legs.
Students will receive a detailed class breakdown upon registration and the list of materials needed.
