Information
Transform fabric into art in this creative mixed-media workshop where textiles become the foundation of your picture. Using a variety of fabrics, acrylic paint, and decorative finishes, participants will design and create a unique textured artwork on canvas board.
Throughout this hands-on 3-hour workshop, students will learn how to arrange and layer fabrics to build imagery, create depth and movement, and add visual interest through color, texture, and surface treatments. Acrylic painting techniques, glazes, and metallic accents will be introduced to enhance and unify each composition.
Perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, this workshop encourages experimentation, creativity, and personal expression while exploring the rich possibilities of combining fabric and paint into a one-of-a-kind work of art.
All materials are provided. No prior experience is necessary.
