In this session, artists will get a crash course in the legal language they may encounter including the pros and cons of LLCs and understanding contracts for exhibitions, consignments, etc.
About the Speaker
Allyn Ginns Ayers is the LegalARTLink Director at Locust Projects, a non profit arts organization. The LegalARTLink program assists Florida artists with their legal issues on a pro bono basis. Allyn received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., and her B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University in New York City. In addition to her work as an attorney, Allyn is a professional contemporary and ballet dancer and Rehearsal Director of Dance Now! Miami.
