Note: The specific timing of each section may vary depending on the size of the group, the level of experience of the participants, and the pace of the workshop. The focus of this 3-hour workshop is to provide a brief introduction to Monotype printmaking, allowing participants to experiment with different techniques and produce their own unique prints.
About the Instructor:
Matthew Forehand, a native of Pensacola, Florida, studied art at Pensacola State College. He furthered his education at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), where he obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a specialization in painting, drawing, and printmaking. During his time in Chicago, Matthew had the privilege of taking courses at Ox-Bow School of the Arts, an artist residency located in Saugatuck, Michigan. He has exhibited his work at Sullivan Galleries (Chicago, IL), Art and Culture Center of Hollywood (Hollywood, FL), and Oolite Arts (Miami Beach, FL)
