Information
This is an ideal class for beginner-intermediate students who want to learn a simple step-by-step process to represent a Basic Human Figure through a practice system of Sketching Drawings which makes it possible to visualize the forms of the human body from every point of view.
No previous drawing training is required. These four classes are perfect for new students but also a continuation for those who took the Basic Human Figure Drawing course.
The class will cover various poses, actions, and gestures without a model. The instructor will explain the correct relationships between forms through spontaneous sketching drawings of the human body in different positions and movements to capture the figure’s expression.
Students will make drawings of specific areas of the body to study the interconnections of the parts and their proportions, measurements, symmetry.
They will also learn to build a human figure from scratch, starting with a straightforward and systematic sketching method that will be explained and demonstrated during class; this includes the body forms and figure’s shape of masses.
