Hansel Porras Garcia is a queer, Cuban-born artist and filmmaker based in Miami. In 2021, they was chosen as the Oolite Arts Cinematic Resident to work on their feature film “Febrero.” The film premiered at the 40th Miami Film Festival, earning the prestigious Knight Made in MIA Award. As the current Oolite Arts Cinematic Manager, they support local filmmakers, contributing to the advancement of their careers.
