Oolite Arts announced the 2022 winners of The Ellies, Miami’s Visual Arts Awards, Oct. 26 at The Bass. This year marks the program’s fifth anniversary.
Oolite Arts is currently one of the largest visual artist support organizations in Miami, with programming that includes The Ellies, residencies that cultivate the careers of emerging artists, the professional development series “Skills” for artists and filmmakers, and more.
The Ellies celebrate artists who are the backbone of Miami’s visual arts community. Forty-five recognized South Florida-based artists and art teachers will share $500,000 to help bring their projects to life and elevate their careers.
