Antonia Wright
Antonia Wright received her MFA in Poetry from The New School as well as at the International Center of Photography for photography and video. Her works question social norms through actions combining danger with beauty, aggression with vulnerability. She founded and was the first artist-in-residence at Overtown’s Lotus House Shelter, and received a WaveMaker Grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation of Visual Arts. Wright’s work has appeared in The New York Times, ArtForum’s Critics’ Picks, and Art In America.
