Information
Join us for a comprehensive two-day workshop where you’ll explore the fascinating art of screenprinting.. This versatile technique allows you to produce beautiful, high-quality prints. Designed for beginners, this course provides essential tools and techniques to understand the silk screening process. In this course, students will learn how to coat a silkscreen with a light-sensitive emulsion, burn their designs, and print with water-based inks directly onto Fine Art quality paper.
During the workshop, you’ll gain hands-on experience with the necessary tools for creating a series of prints. By the end of it, you’ll have multiple prints of your own unique design on paper to take home. We’ll use water-based inks, which are easy to clean and perfect for practicing at home, enabling you to further develop your screenprinting skills.
All consumable supplies are provided, though we will also review the different kinds of paper available for those who want to create archival prints.
This course will qualify participants to book unassisted studio time in our screenprinting facilities during studio hours.
Refund & Cancellation Policy: Attendees can request refunds up to 24 hours before their class start date. Classes must meet a minimum enrollment number to run.
