Drawing on her distinctive mix of skills as an arts journalist and social media expert, she helps artists to develop how to pitch as an essential career development skill. She will workshop tactics to convey distinctive elements of art practice into a few talking points–and how to convey those points most effectively. About the Instructor
Robin Cembalest is a social media influencer and editorial
strategist. Now best known for her @rcembalest Instagram and
Twitter feeds, she began her career as a journalist, publishing
widely in the art and mainstream press and serving as executive
editor of ARTnews for 16 years. In her consulting business,
Robin Cembalest Editorial Strategies, she works with clients to
design and implement editorial and digital content. She also
founded and directs the Niboristas, a mentoring and
networking group for art-world professionals.
