Information
This is an ideal course for beginners and intermediate students who want to improve their painting skills and learn a step-by-step process to make landscape paintings with acrylics. No experience is necessary. This course could be a continuation for those who took previous classes during last year or new participants.
Classes will cover preliminary drawing, color combination, paint application, light, tones, values, form, texture, composition, and the use of brushes.
The class meets once a week for four consecutive weeks and will use urban landscape reproductions as a visual reference, a Gustav Caillebotte’s, Paul Schulenburg’s, or Albert Marquet’s painting.
