Mutual Dynamics: Ena Marrero
Ena Marrero’s working process combines concept and functionality. Utilizing various media including paintings, works on paper, photography, sculpture and installation Marrero transforms memory and perceptions into ideas, and forms into dimensions. For the Walgreens Windows, Marrero creates brightly colored, stylized discs made from recycled materials used in daily life. These works invite passersby to see the familiar in new ways.
