Ripplings:
Monica López De Victoria
Multi-disciplinary visual and performance artist Monica López De Victoria invites us to consider the concept of Ripplings.
The artist suggests that there is an unseen presence rippling out from humans, plants, and animals; an emotional and physical energy which radiates from living beings. In physics, wave interference is the phenomenon that occurs when two waves meet while travelling along the same medium. In this installation the artist utilizes interference to create a setting in which new patterns are invented and overlap the invisible layers of movement in life.
