Nuria Richards
Director of Development and Advisor of Strategy
Nuria Richards joined Oolite Arts in January 2025 and was promoted from Interim Director of Development to Director of Development and Advisor of Strategy in July 2025. A mother, arts leader, cultural producer, and advocate for the creative economy, she brings a wealth of experience in fundraising, strategic planning, and community engagement.
Before Oolite Arts, Nuria was Director of Development at Locust Projects, where she led strategic fundraising efforts during the organization’s milestone 25th-anniversary expansion to Little River. She has also held leadership roles at Piero Atchugarry Gallery and Ascaso Gallery, overseeing museum relations, operations, business development, and strategic planning. As an art consultant, Nuria managed private art collections, focusing on estate planning, sales management, and philanthropic impact.
Deeply rooted in Miami’s arts community, Nuria is the founder of Clandestina, a grassroots incubator art fair and curatorial project that has supported over 300 artists through cultural exchange and economic opportunities. Between 2019 and 2024, she curated more than 80 projects, creating platforms for visibility and dialogue.
In addition to her professional roles, Nuria is a dedicated advocate for advancing leadership in the arts. She has held multiple leadership positions with ArtTable, a national organization supporting women and nonbinary professionals in the visual arts, including Florida Chapter Chair of Programming, VP of Finance, and Board President.
Nuria studied Fine Arts at the National University in Mexico City and International Business at the Monterrey Institute of Technology. She also holds a graduate degree in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art & Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management.
