Rafael Lucas

Rafael Lucas (born 1999 in Pittsburgh, PA) is an artist and writer whose work explores the impingements of generic tropes and forms onto personal experiences. He works between sound, video, and sculpture to negotiate the tension between the lived present, and the historical legacies which constitute and render such intelligible. He studied sculpture and art history at Florida International University.
