Love this!ll In this day and age, it’s time to change things up a bit and be creative!!! Well, the Oolite Arts did just that!!! Innovation is the latest craze! The ArtCenter hosted its latest event but this was not any ordinary art viewing show. No, this wasn’t just about seeing great art, it was all about making it. Yep, you heard that right! Their “Draw” bash featured a new kind of party. Here’s the deal. .. sketch pads lined the venue and guests drew away while eyeing the models who posed for the budding artists. The models, who donned fashions from ZandL Europe, served as the perfect subjects for the creative affair. So, basically envision a massive open drawing session, over cocktails, of course, and yummy bites. To keep things moving, DJ Le Spam played as artists wandered through the Paradise Plaza event space in the Design District, offering tips on form. ArtCenter’s new President and CEO Dennis Scholl and wife Debra welcomed guests including including Craig • Robbins, Franklin Sirmans, Lorie Mertes, Merle Weiss, Typoe, Antonia Wright, Carolina and Vivek Jayaram, Kim Kovel, Reagan Pace, Eric Rodriguez and many others who went home with giveaway totes by Miami artist Ahal Sniffs Glue.
