The Oolite Arts Youth Artist Residency is a highly selective program for young artists ages 16 to 18 who are committed to pursuing a career in the arts. The residency spans 22 weeks, including a 16-week artist residency from Jan. 13-May 14, 2026, followed by a six-week paid internship from July 1-Aug. 7, 2026.
Designed to bridge the gap between emerging artists and the professional art world, the program offers immersive, real-world experiences that introduce students to a wide range of creative career paths.
Program Structure:
Public Exhibition (August) A culminating showcase coinciding with the opening of Oolite’s main gallery, giving students the opportunity to present their work to the public.
