From Within

From Within brings together the work of the Oolite Arts Youth Residents, offering a reflection on the experiences, memories, and environments that shape their creative lives.

Developed throughout the residency, the exhibition marks a moment of both reflection and growth. Residents were encouraged to experiment, take creative risks, and examine the influences that inform their artistic practice. What began as an inquiry into origin and inspiration evolved into a deeper exploration of identity, voice, and intention.

The works presented here reflect that process. Personal and exploratory, they reveal the concerns, interests, and sensibilities that shape each artist’s emerging practice. Together, they offer insight into the inner landscapes from which these young artists imagine, question, and create.
