A collective of women shaping culture through learning, giving, and lifting the voices of South Florida artists.
About
We give and gather because we believe in the power of creativity, the strength of community, and the bright future of South Florida artists. Through curiosity, generosity, and shared purpose, SHE Collective shapes a city where art and artists can thrive.
The SHE Collective at Oolite Arts is a community of female members dedicated to supporting our creative ecosystem by investing in local artists. Rooted in Ellie Scheneideman’s vision and Oolite’s 40-year legacy as an organization from South Florida, for South Florida, we bring together women from diverse backgrounds to create a space of empowerment, mutual support, and collective impact and enjoyment.
We proudly engage with our community to build a movement that champions local voices and strengthens our cultural present and future.
S.H.E.
See
We see the value in creativity, the legacy within every artwork, and the future in every voice.
Hear
We hear artists’ stories and dreams, listening with intention to become stewards of culture.
Engage
We engage by giving boldly, gathering intentionally, and building a stronger future for the arts.
Our Vision
SHE Collective invites you to become one of 40 founding members shaping the next chapter of Miami’s creative community.
Together, we’ll create engaging and inspiring ways to give, celebrating Oolite Arts’ 40 years of supporting artists, inspiring the future for South Florida artists, and creating a shared legacy. Annually, SHE Collective membership donations, among other things, will fund an artwork for the Collection Program by a resident or alumnus for the Oolite Arts collection. And at the same time, participating in the selection process.
The program for members is a curated journey that amplifies your voice and legacy, bringing women together to enjoy and explore art.

Collective Landscape: Nathalie Alfonso
The 40 founding members will receive an artwork that speaks to the collective and fun experience that SHE Collective embodies. Forty unique pieces that, when brought together, symbolize the power of collective intention.
Collective Landscape depicts a single image inspired by the Miami landscape; the artwork itself is physically divided into 40 framed sections, one for each founding member. Each section will stand on its own as a complete artwork, while together they form a unified, powerful whole, a reflection of what SHE Collective represents. Founding members will receive one section of Collective Landscape, a reminder of the strength that we bring to the collective. Members will have the opportunity to select their piece of Collective Landscape during our Second Chapter event, to be announced in December.
“Each piece represents a personal connection to the landscape of Oolite Arts, while also showing that the whole only exists because of the contributions of many. It’s a way to reflect community, interdependence, and the shared commitment to supporting the arts.”
