MATERIALIZE
Curated by Meaghan Kent
MATERIALIZE utilizes space and time. MATERIALIZE is an appreciation of the art object, its textures, and its functionality. MATERIALIZE celebrates the work of South Florida artists. Hosted by Oolite Arts, the exhibition MATERIALIZES an empty shop on Lincoln Road into a DESIGN ART OBJECT presentation of work by South Florida artists.
All works are for sale and proceeds go directly to the artists.
In MATERIALIZE, the work doesn’t shift from art to craft or vice versa. It reveals methods of process and honors craftsmanship. Work is designed to decorate our homes or our bodies. It fosters our minds with humor, curiosity, and depth. It invites us to wonder, to appreciate.
