We are thrilled to share that on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, Oolite Arts will host The Ellies—Oolite Arts Awards: Celebrating the Foundation for What’s Next.
This year, we are honoring visionary arts leaders Mario Cader-Frech and Robert S. Wennett for their legacy and transformative impact on arts and culture, cultivating research into and the dissemination of Central American art and its diaspora through The Museo Reina Sofía’s Cader Institute of Central American Art (ICAC), the initiative Y.ES Contemporary, and as founding members of the Art Basel Global Patrons Committee.
About the Ellies
The Ellies—Oolite Arts Awards are an essential source of funding for creatives. With artists’ passion and voice at the heart of our mission, we are thrilled to announce that the awards are now unrestricted and available to artists living and working in Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe, and Palm Beach counties. This year, the winning artists will collectively be awarded $500,000, bringing the total awards to an outstanding milestone of $4.1 million in support since the program’s inception.
