About the partnership
In collaboration with Atlanta-based magazine of contemporary art and criticism, Burnaway, Oolite Arts has launched a new co-publishing initiative that will produce monthly reviews and features focusing on the Miami arts community. At the helm of this new program is Contributing Editor Jason Katz who will work with both organizations to identify relevant topics and commission these pieces from national and local arts writers.
The goal of this program is to bring more extensive arts coverage to Miami Dade County in support of the artists living and working here.
About Jason Katz
Jason Katz is a Miami-based writer and educator. He publishes Islandia Journal, a printed literary magazine of (sub)tropical myth, folklore, cryptozoology, and the paranormal. His writing has appeared in the Miami New Times, Bitter Southerner, Saw Palm, and the Miami Rail.
